From the north of Chile, Atacama 2000 is an intercity bus company dedicated to passenger transportation that offers services to destinations such as Arica, Calama, San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta, Iquique and Toconao.
In addition to the local services within Chile, Atacama 2000 also offers transportation services to Uyuni in Bolivia, working along with private corporations until the bolivian border where passengers switch to a bolivian bus company to continue their journey.
The buses of Atacama 2000 only have semi cama seats, except for some double decker buses where they offer a superior service. However, within the amenities of its buses we can mention: TV, AC, extra space to extend the legs, snacks and washroom facilities.
From Calama, their buses depart from their own terminal; in Arica, they depart from the Terminal de Buses de Arica and in Antofagasta from the Terminal de Buses de Antofagasta.
